From the Story of Diana and depicting Apollo defying Diana to shoot Orion who is hunting in the island of Delos, with Apollo grasping the arrow above the distrought Diana who reclines beside a stream, Orion appears above them on a cliff, the borders woven with scrolling acanthus leaves with bare-breasted angels and frolicking putti at the angles-11ft. 4in. x 8ft. 3in. (3m. 45cm. x 2m. 51cm.)
