The arched hood with molded pediment surmounted by pierced fretwork above an arched glazed door opening to a white-painted dial with Roman and Arabic chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds hand and calendar day aperture surmounted by a lunar dial, the spandrels with gilt edging and embellished with painted roses and lillies, inscribed "Aaron Willard" centered by fluted colonettes with brass capitals and stop-fluted brass bases over a waisted case with molded arch cupboard door and rococo escutcheon flanked by fluted quarter columns with brass capitals and stop-fluted brass bases, above a box base above a base molding, on ogee bracket feet (finials missing)--89 1/2in. high, 19 3/4in. wide, 10 1/2in. deep
