A STAFFORDSHIRE WHITE SALTGLAZE PEAR-SHAPED HOT-MILK JUG AND COVER

With brown crabstock finial and handle and beak spout and applied with branches of flowering vine and stylized flowerheads enriched in blue, manganese, pink and yellow, raised on three paw; feet headed by grimacing masks, Jacobs Collections no. 587 (cracks to rim, one with associated restored chip, slight crack to lip)--6in. (15cm.) high
