A GREATBATCH CREAMWARE TEAPOT AND COVER
CIRCA 1775

Of globular form with pierced gallery and flaring foot both with beaded band, with pierced ball finial acanthus-moulded spout and 'ear' handle, printed and enamelled with Harlequin and Columbine Discovered in an Arbor by Pierrot, the other side similarly decorated with a lady and a gentleman walking in a garden, another suitor approaching from the left, Jacobs Collection no. 242 (minor restoration to gallery and tip of spout, rim chip cover and to foot restored)--5¼in. (13.3cm.) high
