The desk top with two small cabinets, their hinged covers inlaid with exotic woods and mother-of-pearl to depict stylized chestnut blossoms and foliage, the leather-covered writing surface above one long drawer flanked by pairs of shorter drawers, each side of the desk fitted with four drawers, the front legs elaborately carved, the ten feet all raised on plinth bases--39in. (99cm.) high, 46¼in. (117cm.) wide, 25in. (63.5cm.) deep
