The car offered here is one of the examples built in Rolls-Royce's Springfield Massachusetts factory. Rolls-Royce records indicate that the car was delivered new to Mr. Charles Blyth of San Mateo, California. It was stored for many years and was eventually sold in the late 1950s. Well known Rolls-Royce collector M.L. "Bud" Cohn purchased the car in 1975 and it remained in his ownership until his death. During this time Chassis No. S 128ML benefitted from a restoration and it has only seen occasional use since then.

The Berwick Sedan style body or "Salamanca Permanent" as it is referred to on the factory records is one of 25 such bodies that were fitted to a Silver Ghost chassis.
