Each of oblong form, with gadrooned rim with shells at intervals, the domed covers with gadrooned rims and applied with gadrooning at the shoulder and surmounted by a detachable leaf-clad reeded finial handle with shells, the covers engraved with a crest and motto, the bases also engraved inside with the same crest and motto, marked on bases, covers and finials--12 5/8in.(32cm.) long
