LONDON, 1810, THE COVER MAKER'S MARK OF THOMAS ROBINS
Each of shaped square form, the gadrooned rim with acanthus and shells at intervals, the border later engraved with a coat-of-arms below drapery garlands, the domed cover chased with a band of dentilation and surmounted by a leaf-clad ring handle finial above an applied reeded acanthus-clad band, also engraved with the same coat-of-arms upon drapery mantling, marked under bases and on cover--11in.(28cm.) square, 7¾in.(19.6cm.) high
