Mounted as andirons, the putti holding aloft grape clusters in opposing hands, similar clusters in the lowered hands, both sitting atop a circular nozzle with egg-and-dart rim and acanthus body resting on a three-handled urn cast with cherub masks supported on the shoulders of nereids wearing fish-head helmets flanking a putto astride a dolphin, the iron log support protruding to the rear (lower section and log support later) ----- 23in. (58.4cm.) high, rich blackish-brown patina (2)
