AN 1867 CHARLES H. GOULD MEDAL
A silver medal with crossed bats on one side and the following inscription on the other Baseball Tournament-Union Grounds, Cincinnati O. 11th Special Prize-for 2nd Baseman Won by Chas. H. Gould of Buckeye BBC, Sept. 24, 1867. Gould was the first baseman for the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings who were undefeated as the first professional team that year--1½ in. diameter.
