Kim Eun-Ho was born in In Chun in Kyonggi Province. Ahn Jung-Shick (1861-1919) and Cho Suk-Jin (1853-1920), the two greatest exponents of modernism in Korean painting, guided him to the Kyung Sung Art School in Seoul where he became a student in 1912. He was given the pen name Yee Dang, by Ahn Jung Shick in 1913. In 1914 he painted portraits of the noblemen, Yoon Taik-Young and Moon Byung Suk, and of the government officer Yoon Duck-Young.

In 1915 he graduated from the So Wha art school and he showed his work at the "So Wha Hyup" exhibitions in Seoul annually from 1921-44, missing only one year. In 1954 he exhibited his paintings at the "Modern Art" exhibition in Seoul. He participated in the "Korean Art" exhibition in Seoul in June 1956, and showed regularly at the government-sponsored "National Exhibition" during the period 1957-67. His paintings were included in two shows at the National Museum of Modern Art in Seoul: "60 Years of Korean Modern Art" in 1972, and "Korean Modern Art in Traditional Style" in 1976.

Kim Eun-Ho won the March 1st Cultural Award in 1969 and received the Korean Mi Sul Won Prize in 1968. In December 1976 he had a one-person exhibition at the Go-Ok Dang Gallery in Seoul.
