Realistically formed as a vine, the spreading domed shaped oval base formed as openwork roots applied with lizards and snails, rising to a stem formed as a twisting trunk wrapped in spiralling grapevine with pendant bunches of grapes and supporting eleven graduated realistically formed branches, each with attached dish formed of grapeleaves with inchworm-form hooks, the branches applied with flies and moths, the stem surmounted by a central shaped oval basket also formed of grapeleaves and with a flaring rim, marked on base, stem, dishes and basket--27 1/2 in. (69.8 cm.) high
