A MINTONS BLEU CELESTE 'ROPE FESTOON' VASE after the Sèvres original, modelled with bands of gilt rope-twist and painted in a soft palette with ribbon-tied swags of pink roses and cornflowers festooned with leaves pendant from paterae on a shaped white band edged with chased gilding, above swags of gilt beads, the neck painted to imitate cameos with portrait medallions of maidens within chased gilt oval and rose garland cartouches, on a spreading stem and square base (minor wear to gilding), circa 1880
