A RARE GREEN AND YELLOW-GLAZED INCISED SAUCER DISH
YONGZHENG MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD

With shallow rounded sides, the interior incised in the center with a shou medallion surrounded by two foliate dragons within a line border and five vaporous clouds in the well, with two similar dragons pursuing flaming pearls on the exterior, all under a bright leaf-green glaze reserved on a rich lemon-yellow ground, hair cracks--7 3/8in. (18.8cm.) diam.

No other dishes of this pattern appear to be published. Compare a green and yellow pear-shaped dragon vase, also Yongzheng mark and period, incised with similar green-enameled clouds included in Splendour of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong, Urban Council, 1992, Catalogue no. 151
