THREE SYRIAN CYLINDER SEALS
CIRCA 1850-1650 B.C.
One engraved with a seated figure facing left, wearing a flounced robe and holding an alabastron, recieved two standing figures, the first with arms raised in salute, and a child with arms raised, with the head of an antelope, head of a hare,and a vessel in the field, a three-pronged object, hare, and bird in the sky, line border, 18 x 9 mm, one engraved with a seated figure, a standing figure behind, recieving a standing figure holding a palm frond, a laden table between them, a jug in the field, vertical scroll pattern as terminal, both ends chipped, 17.5 x 9.5 mm, and one engraved with a seated figure with one arm raised, facing right, recieves a saluting female, a laden table between them, an attendant to the left, a crescent in the sky, a hare above an ibex as the terminal, line border, 17 x 9 mm (3)
