EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1700-1850), SIGNED

The iron tsuba comprising: a round, smooth plate with negative sukashi of two lily plants, signed Kofu ju Masashige, (circa 1850)--7.5cm. h., 7.3cm. w., 5mm. th.; an oval plate with four ovals at center and a ken form projecting from seppa dai area in sukashi, the rim with heavily banded gold, signed Kofu ju Shigemitsu, (some rubbing), (circa 1850)--7.5cm. h., 7.1cm. w., 4.5mm. th.; an oval petal-form plate with four pairs of ginger buds and birds, (Owari style), signed Kofu ju Tatsutoshi, (circa 1850)--7cm. h., 6.8cm. w., 5mm. th.; an oval plate formed as three cranes in flight, signed Kofu ju Akao Yoshinaga, (circa 1750)--7cm. h., 6.8cm. w., 4mm. th.; a harness bell-shaped plate carved in sunken relief with a ken sword on the face and a stylized horimono of a dragon on the reverse, signed Kofu ju Tokiharu, (circa 1850)--7.8cm. h., 7.2cm. w., 6mm. th.; an oval plate carved in low relief with a carp in a stream and gold water plants, the reverse with rocks, water and gold plants, signed Goto Tsunemasa and kao, (Edo Goto, circa 1850)--8cm. h., 7.8cm. w., 5.5mm. th.; a dai-sho, oval plate, each in sukashi with a court hat, the tassels in ito sukashi, each signed Mito ju Tokihisa saku, (slight rust areas)--7.4cm. h., 7cm. w. 5.5mm. th.
