This unusually narrow gate-leg table is detailed with crisp baluster-and-disk turnings and bulbous turned feet. A nearly identical gate-leg table from the collection of G. Winthrop Brown is illustrated in Wallace Nutting, American Furniture Treasury, vol. I, (New York, 1948), fig. 951.
