Sicily, Syracuse (c.420 BC), Silver Tetradrachm, 16.3 gms., fast quadriga driven left, Nike flying left above crowning charioteer, scallop-shell in exergue, rev. head of Arethusa left, hair bound twice with cord, loose ends flying, four dolphins and /KSYRAKOSION/k around (Tudeer 12 (obverse 5, reverse 9), same dies; Jameson vol. I, 791, same dies), some encrustation on the obverse, otherwise extemely fine and very rare
