MAKER'S MARK OF HARVEY LEWIS, PHILADELPHIA, CIRCA 1815

Comprising a teapot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug; each of globular form on circular foot applied with beads below a central dentilated knop, with leaf-clad scroll handles, the teapot with ivory scroll handle and leaf clad scroll spout, the shoulders applied with double beading, below a dentilated rim, the domed covers (one hinged) surmounted by acorn finials, marked on teapot and sugar bowl--height of teapot 9½in.
