A DERBY BLUE-GROUND CUP AND SAUCER

Painted with panels of Derbyshire landscapes alternating with others of flowers, both reserved on the blue ground gilt with ferns and gilt chains (handle broken and restuck, gilding slightly worn); together with a Derby blue-ground trio, circa 1820, iron-red crossed batons and D marks, gilt with fruiting vine on the blue ground (gilding worn); together with a Derby blue-ground sauce-tureen and cover, circa 1770, gilt anchor mark, painted en grisaille with a neo-classic urn entwined with a richly coloured flower garland, and in colours with scattered flowers within a gilt arrowhead band reserved along the blue ground gilt with entwined trailing vine, the interior with a loose bouquet (minimal wear to gilt line edges)--7 5/8in. (18.7cm.) wide overall; and a Derby blue-ground cake plate, iron-red crossed batons and D mark, painted in pattern no. 24 with a loose bouquet within a gilt surround, the rim with cartouches of similar flowers reserved against the blue ground gilt with scrolls, within gilt gadrooned rim (gilding worn)--7¾in.
