JEFFERY, No. 28950, treble-grip action-body with Chilton locks, pinless lockplates, automatic safe, elongated top-strap, chiselled serpentine fences, best bold foliate-scroll engraving with some hardening-colour and strapwork borders, boldly-figured stock with pistolgrip, engraved pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and extensively engraved steel butt-plate, sling-swivels, the chopper-lump barrels with sight-rib, open-sights and block-mounted foresight with folding moon-sight and protector, the rib fully-engraved along its entire length with best bold foliate-scrollwork, the top-extension engraved with a stylized shell motif
