WOODWARD, No. 6090/1 and 6153, Woodward patent single-triggers, arcaded fences, gold cocking-indicators, best foliate-scroll engraving with some hardening-colour, highly-figured stocks (No. 1 & 2) with leather-covered recoil-pads, well-figured stock (No. 3) with leather-covered recoil-pad, rebarrelled by J. Purdey, with chopper-lumps and game-ribs

Purdey's have kindly confirmed that guns No. 1 and 2 were completed circa 1909 and that gun No. 3 was completed circa 1910 as the third gun to the pair. The guns were rebarrelled by Purdey's (who acquired the Woodward name in 1948) in 1967
