FLINTLOCK FOWLING-PIECE with bright barrels signed on the rib,and numbered 7, the breeches decorated with engraved borders and a panel of strapwork, silver fore-sight, engraved tang and grooved back-sight, signed border engraved flat bevelled locks each engraved with a sporting trophy on the tail, moulded figured walnut half-stock (a working replacement) carved with rococo foliage, the butt with cheek-piece, border engraved iron mounts comprising trigger-guard and butt-plate each with chiselled finial, the former engraved with strapwork, the latter dated and engraved with a sporting trophy, pierced escutcheon engraved with crowned ducal coat-of-arms within the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, faceted ramrod-pipes, the middle and rear ramrod-pipes secured by screws, iron sling-loop, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod, signed Pusset Fecit A Luneville, dated 1720
