A MEISSEN OVIFORM SUGAR-CASTOR AND PIERCED COVER, painted in puce camaieu with gallants and companions strolling in parklands, below a cylindrical ozier moulded neck painted with sprigs of flowers, the pine-cone moulded cover enriched with gilding with flower finial and screw attachment (chip to screw attachment and finial, slight scratch to decoration), blue crossed swords and dot mark, circa 1765
