A MEISSEN FAMILLE VERTE TWO-HANDLED OLLIO-POT, COVER AND STAND of circular form, the tureen with rectangular handles and standing on three paw feet enriched with gilding, the domed cover with a baluster finial, painted in underglaze blue with flowering plants within turquoise borders with black dots and half flowerheads, reserved with panels of black and iron-red crayfish, the borders with scattered indianische Blumen and underglaze blue diaper bands within brown line rims, the underside of the stand with three flowering branches (slight hairline crack to stand approximately 4cm. long and associated repaired chip, slight chips to two paw feet), blue crossed swords and K marks for Kretschmar to tureen and stand, incised III to footrim of stand, circa 1730
