ALOIS-GUSTAV ROCKSTUHL, signed in Cyrillic and dated 1864

An important miniature of Tsar Alexander II of Russia (1818-1881) standing in a landscape, wearing the white uniform of the cuirassiers, with frogging and epaulettes, decorated with the sashs and breast stars of the Imperial Russian Orders of Saint-Andrew and Saint-Vladimir, with the badge of the Russian Imperial Order of Saint-George, the Imperial Russian badge for 20 Years of Distinguished Military Service and the Imperial Russian bage for the Pacification of the Caucasus, holding a helmet and a sword; rectangular -- 188 x 131 mm, gilt-metal mounted on a hollywood panel set with an Imperial crown, with easel stand.
