ATTRIBUTED TO JOHANN-ANTON DE PETERS, circa 1750

Two young boys building a playing-card castle, both with curled short powdered wigs, one in blue coat, the other in lilac coat with multi-colour embroidered gold brocade waistcoat, seated on a green-upholstered gilt-wood armchair at a playing table; rectangular -- 55 x 76 mm, left-hand and upper borders with artist's joins, gilt-metal mount.
