The cup-shaped support for the bowl set above a wide saucer above a tall, cylindrical base, decorated in hiramaki-e, keuchi and low-relief takamaki-e with a crest, a minogame, crane, river, oranges and pines on a nashiji ground, the interior roiro and sparse nashiji; the rectangular box decorated on the exterior in gold and silver takamaki-e and hiramaki-e on a nashiji ground with pavillions and cottages in Chinese-style landscapes of craggy rocks and pines

A label on the storage box of the stand states that this piece was in the collection of the Lord of the Naegi clan, the Toyama family, of Mino province.
