A SILVER SPICECONTAINER, set on a circular stepped domed base, a short spool-form stem, the baluster urn-shaped spicesection inscribed in Hebrew Minei referring to the benediction over spices, fitted with a hinged domed cover pierced with scrolls and foliage and engraved with a geometrical design of a small Star of David within a bigger one consisting of triangles, mounted with a flower-form thumbpiece, maker's mark illegible, possibly P V, Vienna, 1859
