Jonah ben Elyah Landsofer (1678-1712) was a rabbi, author and like his father and grandfather a professional scribe. The name Landsofer probably refers to his occupation, since his real name was Bunzlau after the town where the family originated. He was regarded as one of the outstanding scholars of Prague.
