This document forbids foreign Jews to enter Alsace without a special permit; forbids 'Rabbis and other Jews' to lodge foreign Jews; forbids Jews to marry without permission by the provincial government; severely restricts their freedom of enterprise; forbids them to use the Hebrew language in business matters; and so forth.
