A 15.9 cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithogrpahed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the meridian of Paris graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes and a Cable Transatlantique, islands with initials according to national possession, the continents coloured in green, orange and yellow and showing rivers, mountains, towns and cities, with a brass finial, raised on an ebonised baluster-turned column and circular plinth base --29.3 cm. high
