A static display model of a 17th Century trader De Halve Maen
Built by A. v.d. Starre
with masts, yards, standing and running rigging with blocks, anchors, headrails, cleats, belaying rails and pins, companionways, grating, capstan, bilge pump, decklight and other details. The planked and pinned hull with main and secondery whales, simple carved stern and rudder. Is finished with red, blue and gold decorated bullwarks, white below the waterline and varnish and loosly mounted on a cradle stand
Measurements overall -- 84 x 95 x 34 cm.
