The silver pepper and salt cellars sculpted as mocking statues of Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881) and his political rival William Gladstone (1809-1898), both with detachable heads, Disraeli standing with his right hand in his pocket and holding a monocle, Gladstone standing holding his hat and pointing on the silver mustard pot sculpted as the Royal crown, with hinged lid and glass-lined interior, the silver-gilt spoon shaped as the Royal sceptre; on a circular ebonized wood base surrounded by a silver laurel wreath -- the base 147 mm diam., maximal heigth 137 mm, Disraeli and Gladstone dated 1878, the base and mustard pot 1885
