by Paul-Nicolas Menière, Paris 1778/1779, with the charge of Jean-Baptiste Fouache, the flange engraved "Meniere Bijoutier du Roy rue MauConseil a Paris"

Oval box, the cover, sides and base with six oval glazed gold medallions of playful putti at various pursuits, attributed to Gérard Debèche Junior, edged in opalescent shell panels, the mounts with seed-pearls and translucent green foliage -- 85 mm wide
