The sixty-two plate black lacquered sujibachi helmet bowl with mabizashi having eye brows, decorated with four-stage tehen kanamono, the iron lacquered four-plate Hineno shikoro with small fukigaeshi with gilt cho (butterfly) mon; a russet lacquered Nara style mempo with horse hair moustache and gilded teeth with a white laced throat guard (yodarekake); the cuirass (do) of iron hon kozane nimai tachi form laced with white kebiki odoshi the leather six-plate hip guards light purple laced and bear fur trimmed; the white laced shoulder guards (sode) with kiri mon decoration; a pair of fine armoured sleeves (kote) with hyotan gane plate overlaid with perced design of blossoms; an associated iron chainmail thigh guard (haidate); and an associated iron shinguards (Shino suneate), mid Edo period (18th century), the helmet early Edo period (19th century)
