Inlaid overall with putti and foliate scrolls, the hinged stepped top enclosing a purple baize-lined interior with remains of a paper label indistinctly inscribed, on a plinth, minor losses to the inlay - 17cm. high x 35cm. wide x 26.5cm. deep; And an ormolu writing-set, 19th Century, decorated overall with scrolling foliage and flower-heads, the rectangular base issuing a foliate scroll, above two cut-glass lidded ink wells, on bun feet, lacking ink-wells - 27.5cm. wide
