An early Victorian mahogany longcase clock the moulded cornice with an arched glazed door enclosing a painted dial with subsiduary seconds and date dial, indistinctly inscribed with the makers name, the case fitted with a moulded rectangular trunk door flanked by demi-column canted angles, the panelled base and turned feet 82in. (208cm.) high
