London on a silvered plaque within the mock pendulum aperture (now vestigial) within the matted centre with calendar aperture, silvered chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, Indian mask-and-foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in the arch, the five baluster pillar movement with twin fusees (wire lines), later anchor escapement, pull quarter repeat on six bells via six hammers with hour strike on further bell, the backplate engraved with open foliate scroll-work with central eagle, the movement secured with a bolt through the baseboard into a central pillar; conforming walnut bracket inlaid with foliate engraved brass
