In the 1974-75 European Cup final, played at Parc des Princes, Paris on 28th May 1975 before a crowd of 48,000, Bayern Munich defeated Leeds United 2-0.
On their way to the final Leeds United defeated F.C.Zurich 5-3 on aggregate; Ujpest Dozsa 5-1 on aggregate; Anderlecht 4-0 on aggregate and in the semi-final Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate.
