Crossbanded overall in kingwood and inlaid with boxwood and amaranth lines, the rectangular superstructure with moulded top above a pair of doors inlaid with a ribbon-tied laurel-swagged oval medallion inlaid with Cupid and a putto climbing a ladder and enclosing a mahogany-lined interior with one shelf, above five mahogany-lined graduated drawers on later rosewood inlaid square tapering feet with tapering caps, with metal inventory tag to the reverse 1248
