A 15-BORE LIEGE BREECH-LOADING PERCUSSION WALL GUN with heavy tapering barrel of hexagonal bore, dated on the left side at the breech and fitted with large detachable fore-sight, folding adjustable back-sight calibrated to 1300 meters, large oblong breech struck with various marks, removeable breech-block, pivoting sprung locking-lever, long tang, plain back-action lock, walnut butt struck with various marks including the mark of the Manufacture d'Armes of Liège, iron mounts comprising trigger-guard looped to form a handle, butt-plate, and pivoting folding peg mount, unsigned, but almost certainly by P.J. Malherbe of Liège, No. 57, dated 1866
