A DUTCH SILVER CREAM PAIL AND A GEORGE I CREAM JUG
THE CREAM PAIL UNMARKED, 19TH CENTURY, THE CREAM JUG, LONDON, 1727, MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT

The cream pail cylindrical and with swing handle, the sides pierced with a windmill, house, tower and bridge in a wooded landscape with a cow grazing, with purple glass liner, 4in. (10cm.) high, the cream jug pear-shaped and on circular rim foot, with scroll handle and engraved with a crest, later engraved beneath the foot with the inscription 'I.F.P. as a keepsake to A.R.', marked under base - 3in. (7.5cm.)
