Persian manuscript on buff paper, 323ff. plus two flyleaves, each with 23ll. of small black nasta'liq in four columns, gold margins and divisions between black rules, blue outer rule, similar outer margin, headings in red across two columns, occasional marginal notes, (some staining and smudging, occasional worming, a few folios coming loose), opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated heading and gold scrolling vine in the margins, four other similar headings, final folio with colophon signed by 'Abd al-Rahim Qumi and dated Rabi' I 1036, later red morocco binding (scuffed)

The opening folio has an impression of the seal of Aurangzeb (1658-1707 AD).
