AN EXTENSIVE MEISSEN COMPOSITE BLUE AND WHITE TABLE-SERVICE PAINTED WITH THE 'ZWEIBELMUSTER' PATTERN
Late 19th Century to 20th Century
Each piece typically painted and some with gilt line rims, comprising:
A two-handled centre-piece and flowered tapering square stand with a shallow pierced dish applied with flowers raised on a scrolling flowered stem modelled with cherubs emblematic of the seasons, one putto's lower leg lacking, small chips to extremities, 21in. (53.5cm.) high
A pair of sweetmeat-dishes modelled as a lady and gentleman reclining beside shallow bowls on scrolling bases, 11¾in. and 13in. (30cm. and 33cm.) wide
A pair of similar salts, old restoration to her legs, damage to his right foot, 7in. (17.5cm.) wide
Three shallow oval tureens and covers with twisted scroll finials, in sizes, one with restoration to border, one with restoration and damage to finial, 11¼in. to 14½in. (28.5cm. to 37cm.) wide
Two shaped circular vegetable-tureens and covers, 13¼in. (33.5cm.) wide
