A FINE COPY. Limited edition, this number 619, printed for Salla Welander, signed by Verner von Heidenstams. This work is based on the paintings executed by the von Wrights held in the University Library at Helsingfors and the 184 plates executed for the first edition which was published in Stockholm, without text, between 1828 and 1838. The additional plates by the contemporary artist Bror Hallberg are of the important species not painted by the von Mayers. Anker 544; Nissen IVB 1026. (3)
