5 works in 15 volumes, 4° (268 x 208mm). Engraved titles, plates and maps. some folding, in all but one work. (Occasional light spotting.) Fine uniform contemporary diced russia gilt, the covers with a triple fillet enclosing a decorative roll tooled in blind, spines in six compartments, lettered in four, the others deorated in gilt and blind, gilt turn-ins (bookplates somewhat crudely removed from all but one volume). Provenance: P. Davies Cooke (signature in one volume); Henry Rogers Broughton, Lord Fairhaven (armorial bookplate in one volume).

A VERY FINE SET OF MIXED EDITIONS of all of Grose's major works. The final work is bound with Darell's History of Dover Castle.
