2 volumes, large 2° (642 x 497mm). Engraved portrait frontispiece of Hogarth and 118 leaves of plates after Hogarth. (One leaf shaved with slight loss to titling beneath image.) Contemporary calf, elaborately tooled in gilt and blind, g.e. (joints split, extremities rubbed).
A GOOD SET. The 118 leaves show 154 subjects on 151 plates, with one plate having an engraved explanation on a plate printed beneath. (2)
