Rebuilt from flintlock, with browned twist barrels signed on the rib and with silver bead fore-sight, engraved case-hardened patent breeches each with engraved platinum plug, finely engraved grooved case-hardened tang, signed finely engraved case-hardened locks serial numbered on the top edge, stained bird's eye maple half-stock (small chip and crack at the tail of the left lock), chequered grip, finely engraved blued iron mounts, the trigger-plate with pineapple finial, silver ecscutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons, original brass-mounted ramrod, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including two combination tools and four cap dispensers, the lid with flush-fitting carrying handle, and trade label for circa 1815-1820, London proof marks
