A CASED 16-BORE SPANISH D.B. PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN

With browned barrels inlaid at the breech with panels of engraved silver scrollwork, two silver lines and the silver-inlaid signature and date, silver bead fore-sight set within a silver arrow, engraved bright steel patent breeches, grooved engraved bright steel tang, signed engraved bright steel locks each with chiselled external mainspring fitted with a roller, pierced hammers each chiselled with a lion-head, figured walnut half-stock, fluted Catalan-style butt, bright steel mounts engraved with foliage and including spur trigger-guard, iron sling loops, original iron- and brass-mounted ramrod, and nearly all its original finish: in contemporary English brass-mounted fitted mahogany case lined in plum velvet with some accessories including brass-mounted tooled leather double shot-belt, and brass-mounted cow-horn powder-flask and circular cap dispencer each with green suspension cord
